QING FAN - Vice President

As Vice President of In Motion, Qing’s responsibilities include assisting the president in every aspect of running In Motion, including setting up and implementing programs at participating schools. She is also responsible for writing and distributing a monthly newsletter to In Motion supporters. She invests a lot of time in planning fund raisers for In Motion as well.

Prior to joining Unite for In Motion, Qing was extensively involved with Free Arts NYC in providing interactive and educational art and mentoring programs to low-income, homeless, abused and neglected children with the aim of using art as a medium to foster confidence and self-expression and to inspire collaboration and communication. She enthusiastically supports programs that bring performing and fine arts to children and the community.

She has also worked in the New York City Dept. of Small Business Services and for Mayor Bloomberg’s Office of Special Projects and Community Events. She has fundraised for and trained with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team In Training® and can now proudly say that she is a tri-athlete. An avid lover of theatre and dance, Qing can often be found waiting in line for rush tickets to Broadway shows, ushering for off-Broadway theatres or taking dance classes at the Mark Morris Dance Center.

Qing works as a Financial Analyst and graduated cum laude from the New York University’s Stern School of Business with a dual major in Finance and Marketing.
