In order to prepare for the next In Motion program, we are holding a fund raiser at 6:30PM at Grotta Azzurra, located at 177 Mulberry Street right off of Broome. Admission is $25 and includes light appetizers and a glass of wine. 

We had a great turn out last year, and we hope to do even better this year!  Please join us in being a part of giving children the gift of dance. We have already seen what a difference In Motion has made in these girls' lives.

We will be selling tickets for the dance recital on February 2nd at the fund raiser if you are interested in purchasing them. Tell whoever you would like. The more the merrier!

A collection of performances showcasing the students of In Motion and featuring dances
by friends of In Motion. Please join us for an afternoon of dance performances followed by refreshments.

Tickets are $10 for General Admission.
All proceeds go to Unite with In Motion, Inc. Tickets can be purchased by making a $10 donation at www.unitewithinmotion.com or by mailing a check (made out to Unite with In Motion, Inc.) to the following address:

Mamapalooza Festival on Sunday, May 31, 2009

- What: Final Dance Recital

- When: Sunday, May 31, 2009

- Time: 12:00pm to 5:00pm. The students will perform between 3:00 and 4:00 pm

- Location: Riverside Park South. On the pier. Entrance at West 68th Street

To provide you with some more background about the mamapalooza festival: Mamapalooza, Inc. is an organization dedicated to promoting, celebrating and inspiring mothers through media, commerce, and performing fine arts.
Their mission is to enlighten and empower all women to claim their voice by establishing a new art form that speaks to the unique and collective perspective of women who are mothers, while sharing this with the world. .

Each year they hold festivals across the country to celebrate mothers and the people who love them. This year they are holding a music and art filled afternoon at Riverside Park South featuring mom bands Swingset Mamas, Moey's Music, tot- rocker AudraRox, a Gymboree Play Tent, arts & crafts, food and fun, Sustainable Women more!
