As Secretary for In Motion, Elizabeth documents the organization's activities and assists with finding and applying for funding. One of her main goals is to help expand development efforts to facilitate future growth of the In Motion program within the city's schools.
Elizabeth has been involved in the performing arts from a very young age. She began playing the piano and flute in elementary school, as well as taking ballet and jazz lessons. As a teenager, she held several responsibilities within her high school drama program, ultimately serving as the stage manager for the mainstage shows. Elizabeth has designed or directed for nearly thirty productions throughout college and Off-Off Broadway and is a strong believer in the importance of arts education at all ages. When not working with In Motion, she is a volunteer with New York Cares and the Director of Development and Communications for KEEN (Kids Enjoy Exercise Now).
Elizabeth is an administrator in the Quantitative Strategies division of SAC Capital Advisors, LP. She received her bachelor's degree from Northwestern University, where she double majored in history and theatre, with a concentration on directing for the stage. While at NU she was active in Associated Student Government, the America Reads tutoring program, and the Risk Management Team for Greek life.
