As founder and President of Unite with In Motion, Priya oversees the overarching vision and strategy of the organization. Her responsibilities include developing performing arts programs that empower youth, leading and managing a team of over 15 people including an executive staff, board of directors and volunteers, cultivating and maintaining partnerships with underserved New York public schools and growing the organization to create a community that fosters personal growth and development for each child.

Priya has been committed to the performing arts and education her whole life and is dedicated to making a difference in the community through art and movement programs. Priya is an accomplished performing artist and leader with nearly 20 years of training, performing and teaching experience. She graduated from the Nrityaanjali institute of dance in August 1996 where she was trained in Bharat Natyam, an Indian classical dance form. She has choreographed modern and classical Indian dances for festivals and dance events in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Georgia. She is a trained singer and has been the lead in several musicals. She also has acted in diverse set of shows including Sylvia, Macbeth, Pippin and The Mystery of Edwin Drood, just to name a few. Priya is an accomplished pianist having won several awards in New Jersey state competitions.

Professionally, Priya works in Morgan Stanley¹s Global Sustainable Finance Group, focusing her efforts on the firm¹s microfinance initiatives. She has an extensive investment banking background as a former instructor at Training The Street, providing valuation and financial modeling training to investment banks and business schools around the globe. She also worked for SunTrust Robinson Humphrey where she was an investment banker working on merger and acquisition and public offering transactions.

Priya graduated from Goizueta Business School, Emory University with Highest Honors. She holds a bachelors in business administration with a concentration in finance and also completed a major in political science.
